The Isle of Wight Music Teaching Cooperative
Following the closure of the Isle of Wight Music Service by the council at the end of August 2015 the staff came together to form a teaching cooperative so that the quality of music education on the island would continue at a very high and professional level.Membership of the cooperative is controlled by the co-op members and there are strict codes of practice and guidelines in force to ensure that any child of any age from any background and ability can be taught to play a musical instrument.
